Welcome to
Welcome to the Xiel fundraising web page for our 2024 fundraising initiative!
As you are probably aware, Xiel is a small medical equipment and pharmaceutical distributor providing products used for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer to NHS hospitals, clinics, and universities.
As a team we wanted to do a fundraising project in 2024 to help a charity also working in the field of cancer, and as a group we have chosen to raise money for

If you watch the video below you will see why this is such a great cause.

What we are doing!
In the run up to this year’s real Olympics, we have decided to run our own version and call it:
The aim is to encourage as many people as possible, young and old, to have some fun, and at the same time raise a little money for the Children with Cancer Charity UK.
What do I have to do?
Just choose any one or more of the events below and next time you go for a run, a walk, a swim, a visit to a beach, play darts in a pub, or have 5 minutes spare time to make a paper aeroplane, do Wordle or some Keepy Uppies in the park.
Then:
- DO THE ACTIVITY
- NOTE YOUR TIME, DISTANCE OR SCORE enter your information here
- DONATE £2 FOR EACH ENTRY www.justgiving.com/page/xielolympix
- LOOK AT THE RESULTS PAGE (see how you’re doing against other competitors!)
- 5km run (record your time)
- 5km walk (record your time)
- 50m swim front crawl (record your time)
- 50m swim breast-stroke (record your time)

- Longest tennis ball throw (record distance in metres)
- Beach or lawn long jump (record distance in metres)
- Wordle average over 20 days (record score from Wordle statistics)

You can enter as many events as you like and each time you record a performance on our website you pay us £2 per entry on our Just Giving page www.justgiving.com/page/xielolympiX
Maybe you could have an enjoyable competition within your team to see who the OlympiX champion will be, or compete against another team within your workplace, or even against another department in another organisation?
You may want to do one or two events with your family and friends, or just for the sheer exhilaration of being an individual OlympiX athlete!
Highly prestigious medals made from Gold, Silver, and Bronze (paper) will be the rewards for the winners of each event, but the real reward is a rosy feeling that you have done some healthy activity and satisfaction in spending a little of your time in raising money for a very deserving charity.
